Clay sand, a vital component in the art of sand casting, is crafted using clay as a binder. The sand treatment department stands as a cornerstone of any foundry, tasked with providing top-tier molding sand to the molding core-making department. The meticulous preparation of this molding sand dramatically influences the quality of the casting production, boosts output, and slashes costs. Given the intricate nature of sand treatment processes, managing the clay sand's treatment and transportation is a formidable task, often conducted under harsh environmental conditions. Therefore, mechanizing the sand treatment process is not just a necessity but a pivotal segment in the evolution of casting production.

Green Sand Production Line Process: The clay sand, a quintessential modeling sand, utilizes clay as a binder. The mechanization of its recovery process is crucial to foundry operations. The caliber of casting sand, post-pouring, is pivotal for superior production quality and volume, while also being a cost-effective solution. The intricate recycling and treatment process of post-use sand involves heavy-duty processing and transportation, often under challenging conditions, making the mechanization of these processes a pivotal aspect of foundry production. Post pouring and cooling, the sand mold separation is conducted via a vibrating shakeout machine or drum shakeout machine, ensuring the casting sand is effectively segregated. Following this, hot castings are conveyed to the shot blasting area via a scale conveyor. The shakeout machine's sand outlet is equipped with a belt conveyor for transporting old sand to the regeneration area. Here, a suspended magnetic separator and belt conveyor work in tandem to extract iron beans from the old sand. Dust is efficiently removed through a designated dust removal port, while the screened old sand makes its way into a small sand silo. The boiling cooling bed cools the old sand, and the 2# bucket elevator lifts it vertically to the sand silo for storage. The unloader then expertly distributes the old sand across the 2# sand bin and 3# sand bin, with a vibrating disc feeder strategically placed at the bin's base. Ultimately, the old sand descends into the belt conveyor, navigating its way to the storage hopper of the rotor sand mixer. Here, coal powder and bentonite are introduced to an auxiliary electronic scale via a screw feeder, ensuring precise mixing in the rotor sand mixer through uniform proportioning. Following processing by the sand loosening machine, the sand is seamlessly transported to the molding machine, ready for a new cycle of molding.
