Resin sand, a core sand variant, uniquely utilizes resin as a binder. The regeneration process of old sand focuses on effectively stripping the binder film from the sand's surface, finely adjusting its surface and particle size, and repurposing it as an incredibly cost-effective alternative to new sand. The recycled sand serves quadruple purposes, significantly reducing new sand consumption and transportation costs, all while delivering uniformly smooth particles that set with excellent thermal properties. Enhancing casting quality, this process particularly shines when the resin sand is recycled and reused, allowing for a reduction in resin usage and consequently, its costs. Additionally, it curtails environmental pollution associated with waste sand disposal. This production line is versatile, adeptly processing sodium silicate sand casting due to the similar processing techniques involved.
Our state-of-the-art resin sand production line boasts an impressive regeneration processing system, capable of producing between 3000 to 10000 tons of castings annually. Utilizing advanced PLC control, the entire electrical system is meticulously safeguarded and monitored, guaranteeing stability and reliability. The sophisticated simulation screen facilitates seamless automatic production, ensuring consistent high-quality output.
The process flow of the resin sand production line is engineered for optimal efficiency: Post-pouring, sand boxes and castings are elevated to the inertia vibration shakeout machine. Here, large jackets and risers are sorted manually, while sand, sand masses, and small cold irons descend through the falling sand grid onto the magnetic separation belt conveyor. Through this, magnetic separation is performed before the materials are conveyed to the multi-functional vibrating crushing and regenerating machine for comprehensive crushing and stripping. Screened sand is directed to the #1 bucket elevator and lifted to the centrifugal rotor secondary regenerator for intense regeneration and comprehensive stripping. The regenerated sand, mixed with fine powder, dust, and resin film, flows into the flow curtain air separator. This unit, connected to both a cyclone dust collector and a pulse back-blowing dust collector, effectively removes fine powder and dust. Subsequently, the sand is lifted by the #2 bucket elevator to the sand warehouse, ready for use. The mobile double-arm continuous resin sand mixer features an upper feeding port, connecting it to the sand storage outlet through a pneumatic shutter. Sand flows seamlessly into the mixer, where it is propelled forward by the screw blade for initial mixing. Proximal control valves precisely add curing agents and resins, which after thorough premixing by the small blade, proceed to the sand mixing end. Fully blended, the mixture is directed to the front discharge port, flowing into the sand box for modeling and core creation. Tires are transitioned to the self-hardening area or treated with alcohol paste for combustion. Finally, a release material coats the surface for drying and closure, concluding with pouring and cooling.
