Green sand production line process: Clay sand, utilizing clay as a binder, forms the backbone of foundry production via mechanized recovery processes. The casting sand's quality, post-pouring, is essential for maintaining superior production standards, optimizing output, and minimizing costs. Handling used sand's complex treatment and logistics is demanding, thus necessitating mechanization. Post-cooling, sand molds are efficiently separated by a vibrating shakeout machine. The hot castings journey to a shot blasting area via a conveyor, while the shakeout machine's sand outlet employs a belt conveyor for old sand transport to the regeneration zone. Here, a suspended magnetic separator works in tandem with a belt conveyor to extract iron impurities. Dust is expertly removed, and the screened sand transitions to a small silo, cooled by a boiling bed, and lifted by a bucket elevator for storage. The unloader adeptly allocates old sand among bins, with a vibrating disc feeder ensuring smooth transfer to a mixer. Additives like coal powder and bentonite are precisely measured and incorporated, culminating in the rotor sand mixer for a well-proportioned blend, ready for the next molding cycle.
