Product Description

This machine is mainly used for the cooling of old green sand. The sufficient movement makes the temperature, humidity and composition of the old sand uniform. The machine has compact structure, stable movement, low energy consumption and good cooling effect. The high pressure fan makes the old sand in the boiling state to achieve the best cooling effect. The opening of unloading door can be adjusted to control the amount of material in salt. The machine and the old sand automatic temperature and humidification system and blower, induced fan, water system can constitute a complete and ideal old sand cooling unit.

According to the different installation position, the machine can be made into two ways of discharging materials: straight line type and vertical type. Both left and right unloading directions should be used when ordering.
In the foundry workshop old sand regeneration process, the cooling uniformity and efficiency of high-temperature wet sand (temperature 80-150ºC, water content 3-8%) directly affect the reuse rate of molding sand and the quality of castings. The double-disc stirring cooler provides an efficient, energy-saving and customizable technical solution for the old sand cooling process through boiling heat exchange and multi-parameter precise control technology. 1. Technical principle and core component design
Based on the physical properties of old sand particles (particle size 0.15-1.2mm), the equipment achieves technological breakthroughs through two core technologies: fluidized cooling and dynamic homogenization:
Boiling state heat exchange system:
High-pressure centrifugal fan (air volume 8000-25000m³/h) blows the sand layer to a suspended state (boiling height 300-600mm), increasing the contact area between sand particles and cold air by 5 times, and the cooling efficiency reaches 30-80t/h, which is 40% energy-saving compared with traditional vibrating cooling beds.
Stepped air distribution plate: porous ceramic hood (porosity 35%) cooperates with guide vanes to ensure uniform airflow distribution (speed deviation <5%) and avoid local overheating or agglomeration.
Coordinated control of temperature and humidity:
Dual-fluid nozzle system: Through the precise ratio of compressed air (0.6MPa) and atomized water (particle size 10-50μm), the humidity of the old sand is controlled at 2.5±0.3%, and the temperature is reduced to ≤35ºC.
Infrared thermal imager: Real-time monitoring of the temperature field of the sand layer (accuracy ±1ºC), linkage adjustment of the fan speed and water spray volume, and elimination of cooling dead corners.

Linear type (L series): suitable for sand processing lines with ample ground space, with a maximum processing capacity of 100t/h;

Pretreatment of high-temperature old sand:
Linked with the vibrating conveyor, it can achieve the initial cooling of 600ºC red sand (to 150-200ºC) to avoid high-temperature deformation of the fluidized bed.
The magnetic separation module (magnetic induction intensity ≥1200Gs) removes iron bean impurities and protects the air distribution plate from impact wear.
Closed-loop water circulation system:
Wastewater is reused after being treated by a cyclone separator (removal rate > 95%) and a plate heat exchanger (temperature difference ≤5ºC), with a water saving rate of 70%.
Intelligent dust removal system:
