As the core equipment for the regeneration of foundry old sand, the strong rubbing regeneration machine realizes the efficient stripping and regeneration of old sand such as resin sand and water glass sand through the synergistic effect of dual-axis mechanical rubbing and airflow assistance. The following is a detailed analysis from the aspects of technical principles, structural design, process flow and actual application effects:
1. Technical principles and core mechanisms
The dual-axis regeneration machine uses two sets of transmission main shafts to rotate in opposite directions at high speed (the speed can reach 720-970r/min), and wear-resistant alloy blades or cast iron rubbing discs are installed on the shaft. After the sand enters the regeneration chamber, it undergoes repeated rubbing and collision under the linear shear force and convection of the blades. This mechanical action not only strips off the resin film and curing agent on the surface of the sand, but also achieves surface rounding through friction between the sand particles, reducing edge damage. Compared with the traditional three-axis structure, the dual-axis design optimizes the chamber space, increases the material throughput by 10-30t/h, and reduces energy consumption at the same time.
2. Boiling airflow assists film stripping. Water glass sand: It needs to be combined with wet regeneration (sand-water ratio 1:1.5) or low-temperature freezing centrifugal process (-40ºC), but dry regeneration as pretreatment can reduce the subsequent wet load.
Alkali phenolic resin sand: The tough film requires higher rubbing strength (such as wheel rolling pressurization), the roundness of the sand particles is improved after regeneration, and the gas emission is reduced by 30%.
