Resin sand is a core sand variant that utilizes resin as its binding agent. The innovative regeneration process maximizes the removal of the binder film from the sand's surface, adjusting the sand's particle size and making it an extremely economical alternative to new sand. By recycling old sand for four primary purposes, businesses can significantly reduce new sand usage and cut transportation costs associated with discarding old sand. The result is uniformly smooth sand particles with excellent heat-setting properties, elevating the quality of the castings produced. The recycled sand allows for a reduced resin addition, further decreasing resin costs. Our system also helps mitigate environmental pollution from waste sand disposal. Our versatile production line seamlessly processes both resin and sodium silicate sand castings, owing to their similar sand processing techniques.
Our state-of-the-art resin sand production line boasts a regeneration processing system capable of handling an impressive annual output of 3,000 to 10,000 tons of castings. Equipped with reliable PLC control for electrical equipment, this system ensures optimal performance with complete safety restrictions and protections. The simulation screen provides a real-time view of operations, offering stability and reliability as it achieves full automation in production.
The resin sand production line's process flow is meticulously designed: Post-pouring, sand boxes and castings are hoisted to the inertia vibration shakeout machine. Large jackets and risers are manually sorted, while sand, sand mass, and small cold iron fragments fall through the grid to the magnetic separation belt conveyor. Following magnetic separation, they journey to a multi-functional vibrating crushing and regenerating machine for thorough crushing and stripping. After screening, the sand moves to the 1# bucket elevator, which transports it to the centrifugal rotor secondary regenerator for robust regeneration and complete stripping. Fine powder, dust, and resin film mix with the regenerated sand and move to the flow curtain air separator via the flow sand tank. This air separator works in tandem with the cyclone dust collector and pulse-type back-blowing dust collector to effectively clear fine particles and dust. The sand and 2# bucket elevator then lift the regenerated centrifugal rotor to the sand warehouse for future use. A mobile double-arm continuous resin sand mixer's upper feed port connects to the sand storage outlet via a pneumatic shutter, facilitating the flow of sand into the mixer. Inside, sand progresses forward aided by a screw blade to initiate sand mixing. The curing agent and premixed resin are consecutively added before reaching the sand mixing endpoint. This thorough mixture flows to the discharge port, ready for automatic distribution into prepared sand boxes meant for modeling and core creation. Tires are carried to the self-hardening area or treated with alcohol paste combustion, finally brushed with a release agent for drying and box closure, ensuring impeccable pouring and cooling.
