Resin sand, a specialized type of core sand, utilizes resin as a binding agent. Our innovative regeneration process effectively removes the binder film from the sand's surface, optimizing particle size for superior reuse as an economical alternative to new sand. Our process not only conserves new sand but also reduces transport costs for waste disposal. The regenerated sand features consistent particle uniformity, smooth surfaces, and excellent thermal properties, significantly enhancing casting quality. By recycling resin sand, we minimize resin usage, cutting costs and environmental impact. Our versatile production line also accommodates sodium silicate sand casting, thanks to similar processing techniques.
Our state-of-the-art resin sand production line, with an impressive annual output capacity ranging from 3,000 to 10,000 tons of castings, integrates advanced PLC control systems for meticulous management of electrical equipment. This setup offers robust protection and ensures stable, reliable operations, achieving seamless automation and high-quality production processes.
Process Flow of Resin Sand Production Line: After pouring, sand boxes and castings are transferred to the inertia vibration shakeout machine. Large jackets and risers are sorted manually, while sand, sand mass, and small cold iron pieces fall through the grid to the magnetic separation belt conveyor. Post-separation, they proceed to the multi-functional vibrating crushing and regenerating machine for crushing and stripping. Screened sand is elevated via the 1# bucket elevator to the centrifugal rotor secondary regenerator for comprehensive regeneration and stripping. The regenerated mixture flows to the flow curtain air separator, linked to cyclone and pulse-type back-blowing dust collectors, effectively removing fine powders and dust. The regenerated sand is elevated to storage by the 2# bucket elevator and directed to the mobile double-arm continuous resin sand mixer. Here, sand is advanced through screw blades, mixed with curing agents and resin, and processed to perfection. Final mixtures are directed to molds, ready for precision core making. The process concludes with advanced treatments ensuring optimal combustion, drying, and cooling.
