1. Technical standards and core advantages of cast iron sand box
Based on GB/T 9439-2010 and ISO 185 standards, cast iron sand box (HT200/HT250) achieves performance breakthroughs through material and structural innovation:
Excellent material performance:
Tensile strength ≥ 200MPa, hardness HB 180-240, 3 times higher than the load-bearing capacity of cast aluminum sand box, suitable for high-pressure molding (specific pressure 1.5-2.0MPa) and large castings (single weight ≤ 30 tons) requirements;
Excellent heat fatigue resistance, can be used for more than 5000 times at below 400ºC, and annual maintenance costs are reduced by 60%.
Scientific structural design:
The box wall adopts stepped reinforcement ribs (thickness 15-40mm), with staggered exhaust holes (Φ8-15mm), air permeability>120cm³/min, eliminating the pore defect rate to below 0.5%;
The positioning pin hole tolerance is ±0.02mm, ensuring the box assembly accuracy ≤0.1mm, and the casting size tolerance is stable at CT8-9 level.
Flexible process adaptation:
Lost foam casting: double-layer breathable structure (inner stainless steel mesh + outer sealing steel plate), negative pressure uniformity>95%, solving the problems of box collapse and shrinkage;
Coated sand casting: detachable box belt design, suitable for complex cavity demolding, sand mold compactness ≥85%, surface roughness Ra6.3μm.

2. Customized solutions for multi-process casting scenarios
The cast iron sand box can be deeply customized according to the casting size (50mm-5000mm), molding equipment (manual/automatic line) and process characteristics:
Wet sand casting sand box:
Sand intake optimization: side wall sand intake 30-80mm, top surface sand intake 50-100mm, adapted to the expansion characteristics of 3.5-5.0% moisture content of wet sand;
Quick mold change system: modular box ears and T-slot guide rails, mold change time <30 minutes, improve production line flexibility.
Resin sand casting sand box:
