Green Sand Production Line Process: At the heart of our foundry operations is the green sand production line that utilizes clay as a binder. The mechanization of sand recovery processes is indispensable in enhancing foundry productivity. The integrity of the casting sand post-pouring directly impacts casting quality and cost efficiency. The complexity of recycling and treating used sand necessitates extensive processing and transportation efforts under challenging conditions, making process mechanization essential. Upon cooling, sand molds are separated using a vibrating shakeout machine, followed by transport of hot castings to the shot blasting area via a scale conveyor. A belt conveyor at the shakeout machine’s sand outlet facilitates the movement of used sand to the regeneration area. Here, a suspended magnetic separator paired with a belt conveyor efficiently extracts iron contaminants. Dust removal ports cleanse the old sand, which is then stored in a small sand silo, cooled through a boiling cooling bed, and elevated by a 2# bucket elevator for storage. An unloader delegates the sand to various bins, equipped with a vibrating disc feeder for smooth transfer onto a belt conveyor, ultimately reaching the rotor sand mixer. Additions of coal powder and bentonite via a screw feeder to an auxiliary electronic scale precede precise mixing in the rotor sand mixer, preparing the sand for renewed molding processes.
