Discover the versatility of resin sand—a core material that uses resin as a binder. The regeneration process effectively cleanses the sand, stripping the binder film to rejuvenate its surface and optimize particle size. This practice offers an economical alternative to new sand, dramatically reducing consumption and transportation costs. The recycled sand boasts uniform particles with a smooth finish and excellent heat retention, enhancing casting quality. By recycling and reusing resin sand, resin consumption is minimized, lowering overall costs and mitigating environmental impact from waste sand disposal. Additionally, the production line is adept at handling sodium silicate sand casting, with a parallel sand processing methodology.
Our robust resin sand production line boasts an impressive annual capacity of 3,000 to 10,000 tons of castings. Utilizing advanced PLC control, the system ensures electrical equipment operates within safe parameters, delivering stable and reliable production. A user-friendly simulation screen supports automatic production, ensuring seamless operation.
Resin Sand Production Process Flow: After the casting phase, sand boxes and castings are transferred to the inertia vibration shakeout machine. Here, large jackets and risers are sorted manually, while the sand, sand mass, and small cold iron fragments descend to the magnetic separation belt conveyor. Post-separation, they proceed to the cutting-edge multi-functional vibrating crushing and regenerating machine for processing. Screening follows, sending sand to the 1# bucket elevator, which elevates it to the centrifugal rotor secondary regenerator for enhanced regeneration and thorough stripping. The regenerated sand, now mixed with fine powder and resin film, is directed to the flow curtain air separator. Connected to both a cyclone dust collector and a pulse-type back-blowing dust collector, this setup efficiently removes fine particles and dust. Eventually, the regenerated sand in the sand warehouse is elevated by the 2# bucket elevator. The mobile double-arm continuous resin sand mixer, connected by pneumatic shutter to the sand storage, receives the sand for mixing. Within this mixer, a screw blade guides the sand while a curing agent is introduced via a control valve. Following premixing by a small blade, resin is added before the mixture proceeds to the discharge port. Fully integrated, the mixture flows into the sand box, ready for modeling and core making. Finally, the tire undergoes self-hardening or an alcohol paste brushing, ending with a release material application before box closure for pouring and cooling.
