Product Description
The push mechanism of the horizontal molding machine is a key device to achieve accurate pushing of the sand mold from the molding machine outlet to the chain plate conveyor line. Its technical realization is mainly based on the synergy of chain transmission and cylinder mold removal, and can be customized according to the size of the sand mold.

1. Mechanism composition and transmission design
The mechanism consists of a push execution unit, a power transmission system and a guide positioning module. The core of the push execution unit is a push plate made of high-strength alloy material, which is driven by a cylinder to achieve linear reciprocating motion. The chain transmission system adopts a double-row precision roller chain and is equipped with an automatic tensioning device to ensure stable power transmission. The chain and the push plate are hinged by an adjustable connecting arm, allowing the push angle to be fine-tuned (±5°) to meet the requirements of different sand mold sizes.

2. Cylinder graded drive technology
The use of a two-stage cylinder linkage structure improves push efficiency:
The first-stage cylinder (stroke 800-1200mm) is responsible for quickly sending the push plate to the exit position, shortening the idle stroke time
The second-stage cylinder (stroke 200-400mm) performs precise push action, equipped with a displacement sensor to monitor the push depth in real time
The dual cylinders achieve timing control through the solenoid valve group, the push speed can be adjusted in the range of 0.2-1.5m/s, and the maximum thrust reaches 12kN

3. Cleaning and anti-deviation design
The front end of the push plate is integrated with a two-way cleaning brush assembly, which uses wear-resistant polyurethane bristles (hardness 85-90 Shore A) to simultaneously remove residual sand on the chain plate line during the push process. The guide system includes:
Four-column chrome-plated positioning slide bar (diameter φ50mm)
Self-lubricating copper-based bearing sleeve
Laser beam position detection sensor
Error control accuracy of ±0.5mm to prevent sand mold offset
4. Intelligent control system
PLC control unit integrates multi-mode selection function:
Single push mode: suitable for large sand molds (>500kg)
Continuous push mode: adjustable beat (5-15 seconds/time)
Fault self-check mode: real-time monitoring of cylinder pressure (0.4-0.8MPa), chain tension (200-400N) and other parameters
Equipped with emergency stop button and mechanical interlocking device
The mechanism realizes precise control of pushing force, speed and accuracy through modular design, and cooperates with the variable frequency speed regulation function (0.5-3m/min) of the chain plate line to form a complete sand mold conveying system. In actual application, under the working conditions of sand mold density of 1.6-1.8g/cm³, the pushing success rate reaches 99.7%, which saves more than 30% energy compared with the traditional hydraulic push mechanism.
