Given the intricate sand treatment processes and the labor-intensive nature of clay sand handling and transport, mechanizing these processes stands as a cornerstone of modern casting production, despite challenging environmental conditions.

Green sand production line process: This sophisticated process utilizes clay as a binder in sand modeling (core) operations. The mechanization of sand recovery is vital to streamline foundry operations. The quality and efficiency of casting greatly depend on the casting sand recovered post-pouring, as it minimizes costs and maximizes output. Given the complexity of recycling and treating used sand, processing and transporting green sand involves significant labor and harsh environments. Thus, mechanizing these processes is crucial. Post-pouring, a vibrating shakeout machine efficiently separates the sand mold. Hot castings are conveyed to the shot blasting area via a scale conveyor, while a belt conveyor transports old sand to the regeneration area. Crosswise magnetic separators and conveyors extract iron particles, and dust removal ports cleanse the sand. The screened, cooled sand is elevated to a silo for storage, where it undergoes further processing with bentonite and coal powder in a rotor sand mixer, ensuring perfect blending and readiness for new molding cycles.
