Green sand production line process: Clay sand serves as a crucial component in molding and core sand production, with clay as its adhesive agent. Streamlining the sand recovery process through mechanization stands paramount in modern foundry operations. The quality of reclaimed casting sand post-pouring significantly influences casting quality, output, and cost efficiency. Given the complexity of recycling and treating used sand, coupled with the demanding nature of processing and transporting green sand, mechanizing these procedures is essential. Post-pouring and cooling, a vibrating shakeout machine (or drum shakeout machine) meticulously separates the sand mold, completing the casting sand separation. Hot castings journey to the shot blasting area via a precise scale conveyor. A belt conveyor at the shakeout machine's sand outlet efficiently channels old sand to the regeneration area, where cross-placed suspended magnetic separators and conveyors eradicate iron impurities. Dust in old sand is expertly cleared through a dedicated dust removal port, channeling screened sand into a small silo. The old sand undergoes cooling via a boiling cooling bed, then a 2# bucket elevator elevates it to a storage silo. Unloaders strategically distribute old sand to various bins, each equipped with a vibrating disc feeder. The sand is conveyed via belt to the rotor sand mixer's storage hopper. Here, coal powder and bentonite are precisely added via a screw feeder, ensuring uniform mixing ratios before entering the rotor sand mixer. Post-processing in the sand loosening machine, the sand advances to the molding machine, ready for its next molding cycle.
