Resin sand is an advanced type of core sand, utilizing resin as its binder. The regeneration process of old sand is meticulously designed to strip away the binder film from the sand's surface efficiently. This adjustment enhances the sand's surface and particle size, offering an economical alternative to new sand. The recycling of old sand serves multiple purposes: dramatically reducing new sand consumption, slashing transportation costs for waste disposal, and producing uniformly smooth sand particles with excellent heat retention. This is instrumental in elevating the quality of castings, particularly when recycled resin sand is reused, allowing for reduced resin usage and thereby cutting costs. Additionally, this process mitigates environmental pollution from waste sand disposal. Our production line is also compatible with sodium silicate sand casting, as the sand processing techniques for both are remarkably similar.
Our state-of-the-art resin sand production line regeneration system boasts an impressive annual output ranging from 3,000 to 10,000 tons of castings. Utilizing advanced PLC control, we ensure all electrical equipment is stringently managed and safeguarded. The simulation screen provides real-time stability and reliability, paving the way for seamless automated production.
An intricate process flow characterizes our resin sand production line: post-pouring, sand boxes and castings are efficiently hoisted to the inertia vibration shakeout machine. Here, larger jacket pieces and risers are manually separated, while the sand, sand mass, and smaller cold iron fragments journey through the falling sand grid onto the magnetic separation belt conveyor. Following magnetic separation, these components are conveyed to the multi-functional vibrating crushing and regenerating machine for further processing. Post-screening, the sand is elevated by the 1# bucket elevator to the centrifugal rotor secondary regenerator, where robust regeneration and comprehensive stripping occur. Sand mixed with fine powder, dust, and resin film is then channeled into the flow curtain air separator, accompanied by cyclone and pulse type back-blowing dust collectors to eliminate fine particulates. The centrifugal rotor's secondary regenerator and the sand in the sand warehouse are elevated again by the 2# bucket elevator, prepared for future use. The mobile double-arm continuous resin sand mixer's upper feeding port is seamlessly connected to the sand outlet, enabling a smooth flow of sand into the mixer. Within the mixer, sand is advanced by a screw blade, and then the curing agent and resin are added sequentially, culminating in a thorough blending before reaching the discharge port. Here, the mixture gravitates into the prepared sand box, ready for modeling and core making. Finally, treatments such as combustion with alcohol paste and application of release materials ensure quality outcomes before the box is sealed for pouring and cooling.
